If the Juubi performs Infinite Tsukuyomi....

Tobi is currently in the process of reviving the Juubi.




If the "imperfect" Juubi performs the jutsu "Infinite Tsukuyomi"... in his weakened state (without the Full Karuma or 8 Tails chakras), do you think it would be possible for any Shinobi to counter its Genjutsu effects and fight Tobi/Juubi at the end of the manga...?


(Note: This is assuming the "Infinite Tsukuyomi" jutsu will affect all users on earth regardless of their 5 senses, just like Izanami.)












My candidates:




1. Sasuke Uchiha
Itachi told sasuke that a doujutsu genjutsu can be countered by someone with the same eyes. Sasuke currently has EMS, it is unknown if these eyes would be powerful enough to break the effects of this genjutsu.


2. Naruto Uzumaki
Perfect Jinchurriki's are able to break any Genjutsu, theoretically. Also, he may be able to break the genjutsu because he is a Perfect Sage, theoretically.


3. Killer Bee
Perfect Jinchurriki's are able to break any Genjutsu, theoretically.


4. Kabuto
As a Perfect Dragon Sage, he may be able to counter this through his ability to intake Senjutsu chakra regardless of moving or not.


5. Kakashi Hatake
Itachi told sasuke that a doujutsu genjutsu can be countered by someone with the same eyes. Kakashi currently has MS, it is unknown if these eyes would be powerful enough to break the effects of this genjutsu.


6. Madara Uchiha
Itachi told sasuke that a doujutsu genjutsu can be countered by someone with the same eyes. Madara currently has Rinnegan, it is unknown if these eyes would be powerful enough to break the effects of this jutsu. Madara would have the best chance of not being effected by Infinite Tsukuyomi's effects, but Tobi might not use a regular Rinnegan to accomplish this genjutsu...
...He may use the "Juubi Eye", which in turn may still be too powerful for a regular Rinnegan. Hell if i know LOL

An interesting theory... I tend to agree more or less with your candidates except for Kabuto. Kabuto may not be able to utilize sage mode now that Orochimaru's removed his cells from which much of Kabuto's power stemmed.

i think you pretty much listed all the viable options at this point, sharingan users/ perfect jins, kabuto im unsure about, but his current state is debatable regarding if he can still use dsm

Tsukoyomi won't work on a shinobi who has EMS/MS/Rinnegan activated, e.i. kakashi, madara, tobi. And i don't think Perfect Jinjurikis can stop Tsukyomi though. So only those people with MS or EMS or Rinnegan can live to tell the tale

I dont really think the imperfect juubi would be able to use infinite tsukoyomi, but if he does, i dont think anyone would be able to counter it. Of course we still dont know how powerful sasuke is with his EMS so he might just be the one.

The statement itself isn't false.
However, the time it takes them to break out of it is a problem when faced with a genjutsu such as Tsukuyomi.

Eh? You can't break out of Itachi's Tsukuyomi unless you have the prerequisites that he said you need to break out of it. And the time it takes? WTF? There is no time, only Itachi's Tsukuyomi is unbeatable unless you share his blood and have a Sharingan. That simple. ​

I'd say no-one would brake out of it, because it might not be whether they can but since the juubi chakra is so powerful it just wouldn't be possible.

I doubt that anyone will be able to counter it, exept maybe Naruto. Not because he might be a perfect jinchuuriki but because of plot-no-jutsu and main-character-no-jutsu. The JSA's main objective was to keep Tobi from carrying out the Moon's Eye plan by denying him the last two Bijuus. The Raikage was even willing to kill a jinchuuriki just to delay the prospect of Mugen Tsukuyomi. All of this and the the way Tobi ans Madara spoke about Mugen Tsukuyomi makes it seem that this justsu will be a finisher

• He's going to use that insane chakra boost to magnify his own eyes to it's ultimate level, in order to activate a certain jutsu. A massive scale genjutsu called Mugen Tsukuyomi.
• Mugen Tsukuyomi involves relfecting Tobi's own eyes from the moon's surface. (Tobi was still speaking under the guise of Madara. So its most probably the refection of Madara's own eyes).

So...the point is that the Juubi isn't gonna perform any jutsus. Tobi's "Eye of the moon plan" doesn't involve anything like that.

In either case sinerio, this does NOT affect the main point of the thread. Whether Tobi or Juubi himself performs the Genjutsu, which shinobi could possibly survive the affects to Fight afterwards...?

Kakashi could not break the genjutsu nomatter what. Kakashi was owned by Itachi's genjutsu, he would stand no chance vs the juubi.
