Naruto discarded the cloak because Sasuke had targeted his hand. Flesh and bone. It was only meant to distract Naruto temporarily anyway.

Lol stopped reading. Dude it took V2 Ay to dodge Amaterasu. Gai isn't doing that unless he's in 7 gates or any gate that put him on par in speed with Raikage same as Lee. Neji and TenTen ain't doing shit. And Gai won't even know Amaterasu is coming if he's not looking at Sasuke's eyes.

Then explain how Sasuke dodged Amaterasu, multiple times, from Itachi. Sasuke definitely isn't as fast as Ay. And Sasuke has to build chakra in his eyes in order to use any of his eye jutsus, and Neji can definitely point that out with his Byakugan.

I honestly think all it takes to bring down Sasuke is Neji. No one uses their full powered jutsus in the beginning of the battle--they usually test out their opponent with taijutsu and simple ninjutsu. Not in any battle has a Uchiha used Amaterasu or Susano'o in the beginning of the battle, so you can't say that Sasuke would immediately use those. And all Neji has to do is seal Sasuke's chakra points, preventing him from using ninjutsu, as well as his Sharingan. And with Guy being his teacher, Neji would know to not look Sasuke in the eyes, as K11 planned to defeat Sasuke earlier.

It really doesn't take all of Team Guy to defeat Sasuke. So if you have all of Team Guy, it won't be a problem. I don't think anyone could come up with a rebuttal to that, but I encourage you to try.

following the story, obito was always monitoring sasuke and as long as hes there the latter doesnt get captured in any way so the answer is no.

if however op meant a fight between sasuke and gai with team 10, then gai solos once he goes 7 gates. sasuke kills the other fodders tho.
