This was the same Orochimaru who played with 4 tails Naruto for fun.And it was made clear that none of Orochimaru's techniques would work against Sasuke whether he was at full power or not,read chapter 346.Sasuke literally showed Orochimaru the flashback of Itachi Neg Diffing a full power Orochimaru and saying,"None of Your techniques work against my eyes",and then Sasuke said those same words.

Anyways,If taking down Orochimaru wasn't a big feat then anyone would be able to kill him,which clearly wasn't the case.
