If suigetsu can't tank tailed beast bomb in water

What makes people thing he's gonna tank Sakuras punch. He doesn't absorb kinetic energy, if Sakura was to punch him his body will be scattered miles and miles apart unable to reform.

That’s not really tanking. He is liguifying allowing moves to Pass through him. Aversion as adverse to tanking. Sakura’s lunch would cause him to liquify. If it has that air force befhind it like she did when she punched the falling debris during the Chunin Exams of Part 3 then he water would be scattered some distance but not the distance you are suggesting and suigetsul would just form again.

If she however has control over the element of water, then she could incorporate that to keep him solid long enough to allow her punch to make direct contact provided she could pull off such a feat (keeping Suigetsu from liquefying)

We haven’t seen her donthos so I’m gonna say she can’t until proven otherwise though.

The thing is people act like Suigetsu can keep on liquefying himself, it uses chakra and Suigetsu isn’t known to have large reserves so Sakura can keep punching but can he keep liquefying? Not to mention she has water affinity and can to a degree control some water so he isn’t suffocating her either.

Sakura's so called punch is just expelling chakra from her fist

a Bijuu Bomb/Blast is way more in chakra quantity then Sakura's CES Punch

I don't know the range limit of Suigetsu's ability but the gap between what the 8 tails did and what Sakura's punch can do is massive

While he should be able to deal with the punch itself, The explosive power that emits from the punch might fuck him up.

Regardless of if his body is water, The power/energy from the blast will hit him, if his liquidized body cannot handle the force/power of what ever it hitting it, you should see similar effects like what happened with him and the biju bomb.

TBB is explosion that causes extreme heat which causes water to evaporate. Sakura punch is physical punch that would be pointless against Suigetsu .

Anyway the Bijuu Dama is a mass of chakra whereas the Byakugou punch also is an extremely delicate mass of chakra.I believe the results will be identical.All that matters is the force behind the attack.

Hachibi did a biju wave not a biju bomb. It had properties of lightning style (I think) but the thing is that the hydration technique is immune to most physical attacks.
Unless Sakura has lightning style armour or Tsunade’s Nervous System Rupture which are lightning style chakra in nature, then tough luck for her.
