Going by what Hagoromo stated Madara used the Juubi to get close to Hago's power because his Transmigration was over. So alive Hashi who is the Transmigrant of Ashura should be able to take on Juubito and either way lose high diff or win high diff.

Besides Edo Hashi would get support by 2 FTG user. An Uchiha and a perfect JJ.

Beating Obito would've been even easier. Naruto and Sasuke were taking him on outside of handling Bijuu Dama. The SA was fighting the Shinju. He wouldn't have been able to fodderize Mokujin the same way he fodderized Naruto and Sasuke's Avatars.
