If Sasuke's S/T is instant, how was Kakashi able to get to Sakura first?

Multiple explanations. Maybe Sasuke was not within the S/T jutsu's range and had to move a few feet forward before it activated. Maybe Kakashi was closer. Maybe Kakashi used double Kamui, which is pretty much instant. Numerous explanations, considering it happened off panel, we have nothing concrete.

Typical idiot...he has a superior eye obviously with sharingan he could see it coming, but with this eye it possibly increased. He was shocked at the susanoo and didn't use it. If he uses it then he'll be there instantly he activates it, that's how instant it is. EDIT: Your sig quote is wrong anyways...there's no such thing as speed with this jutsu.

But Sasuke's ST is faster than Kakashi, it just requires prep.

instant is instant and faster than any level of leg movement speed is absolute rule. You can't denied it.

But the prep time is what make them slow to react.

Look at goku Shunken Ido. He need to focus the Ki sense of the target to pinpoint their position. And then he done the teleporting at instant.

Unless the person is Kioshin. The person don't need prep.

Same as Minato that had preparation ready
