Possibly. Sasuke being good would've made him feel the pain of loss as soon as he killed Itachi since Sasuke would want to bring Itachi to the good side and failing. After going blind from use of his MS, he would transplant Itachi's eyes to gain EMS.

his rivalry would naruto would mean that they would still have progressed really quickly... sasuke learnt rock lee's speed and chidori in a month and naruto learnt to use the kyuubi's chakra and use an a-rank summon in the same time. imagine what they'd do in three years. and knowing itachi he would still have forced sasuke to kill him one way or another, making him get ems. unless tobi kills sasuke when he refuses to go to his side
