I think he was refering to loving her as opposed to the brother-sister relationship (which I agree that they have)

But I think oddly enough he would. Not because he wants to, but because he would be breaking the whole cycle of hatred. It wouldn't be the let's be friends again kind, but the after he beats the crap out of him he lets him live and throws out a line along the lines of, "I'm not going to stoop to your level!"

I think this is EXACTLY what is going to happen in the manga.
Sasuke will be going for the kill on Naruto but maybe Sakura intervenes and gets killed herself.
This will either change Sasuke and make him realize what he's doing is wrong or he won't care.
But either way it'll make Naruto go nuts and nearly kill Sasuke.
I seriously do not see Sakura staying alive by the end of this manga.

But then again the whole point of Naruto's new view ever since Pain is forgiveness instead of hate.

Good point +rep you for that... But if you put it that way nagato was alredy defeated so killing him wouldnt do anygood ... now if sasuke killed sakura in pure cold blood i dont think naruto would just say "oh cool i still want you to come back" so yea it would be a realy tricky situation.

Oh I agree! That is the biggest reason that I think he would forgive Sasuke! He has been very fixated on it!

It would be funny if he dragged him to the gates, and once he got him there completing his promise he would just push him out lol!!!

I kinda like Sakura, but my dislike for her is still more than my like for her. I disliked how she always viewed Naruto as annoying in part 1 and ignored him completely until the end. In part 2 she starts liking Naruto more but she's still obsessed with Sasuke and ignoring Naruto's love for her. I don't think Naruto will ever forgive Sakura if she ever killed Sasuke because Naruto treasures his bond with Sasuke so much more than his bond with Sakura. He would be furious at her because he promised Itachi he would save Sasuke, and that would fail if Sakura did kill Sasuke.

For once, a decent question asked. Personally I believe the story needs to do something like this; kinda like an ultimate test for Naruto's resolve to bring peace. In the end, yes, I think he forgives Sauske, but only as Sauske lays dying at someone's feet, finally realizing the mistakes he has made.
