Why anyone would put 2 godly spiritual items into a manga like this is just ridiculous. Itachi was already super strong as it is, but these weapons pushed him over the top. Now there's a chance Sasuke will get them?

I completely agree. They are the 2 worst items in the narutoverse followed by the invention of Itachi himself, we should just let these things die with their user, Sasuke needs some independance in his moveset considering how he literally just implanted his brother's EMS effortlessly.

The switch was complete bullshit. I thought Itachi left it to Naruto to change Sasuke. It turns out that Itachi changed Sasuke and his speech to Naruto was just to help him combat Sasuke becoming hokage. How can someone predict that? Makes no sense.
