Imagine if sasuke faced pain instead of naruto, what would happen?

deva just destroyed the village and cant use his powers just like against naruto for a while. sasuke has the ems with the techniques he showed us until now. during the fight devas abilities can return. needs the same time like with naruto.

will sasuke manage to stop him?

Not to mention Nagato wasn't even trying to kill naruto. Sasuke isn't a jinchuriki, so i see no reason why Naga would hold back. Yea, The paths takes this.

If Deva isn't available at the beginning, this would be a slaughter. Without Deva they simply can't handle the force of Susanoo, Amaterasu and Enton. Naruto fought Pain a while before Devas powers were available and if I consider how fast Sasuke would do this instead, it will pose a big problem for him.

Sasuke, even with the EMS, would not have won, even with the info that Naruto had.

1. Sasuke had trouble with just The raikage, and "Pain" was basically 6 Kage level ninjas that unless you kill the correct one, kept comming back, so i doubt he could.

2. Sasuke doesnt have the Shadow clone jutsu, so he would have a harder time taking on 6 people at one time, also, he couldnt have used the tactic Naruto used to take out the Path that could revive the others.

3. Sasuke isnt particularly fast or strong, meaning he would literally get manhandled by the paths.

4. Sasuke isnt god, as so many people on this website say he is, so i doubt he would win.

P.S. Sasuke didn't even have E.M.S at the time, he got it AFTER the war started, so yeah, there's that...
