I think they would understand what pain he was going through. And have more information about Tobi/Madara. Also know how to get EMS and its techniqes a bit more and Madaras past. They would be saved once Edo is gone. He also killed Danzo and he was evil.

^Danzo wasn't exactly evil^

But if Naruto says Sasuke is good the others will go with what Naruto says

LOL I think I just realised something really stupid. Itachi promised to talk to Sasuke after they defeat Kabuto and cancel the edo, but if edo is cancelled won't Itachi disappear? :)

I don't think fighting Sasuke would be as hard as fighting Madara...

If Sasuke really did come back to the good side nobody would trust him unless Naruto confirmed it with his evil intention sensing power

Logically he should not be forgiven for his crimes, but if he where to become good again, plot no jutsu will make sure he does not get punished!

I can see where this is coming from, Sasuke's attitude seemed to have actually changed as soon as he saw Itachi in edo form. I don't think its "hopeless", but its gonna take a miracle for Sasuke to change his stand on things AND get accepted back into society.

Stopping Kabuto would definately earn him some long lost brownie points.
