I think that Naruto would have sought vengeance against his criminal brother for killing his clan. Even though Naruto would have initially been better than Sasuke, Sasuke would have eventually surpassed him, pushing him to seek out one of the Legendary Sannin in order to get more powerful. Naruto would kill his mentor and form a team to track down his brother. Naruto would eventually get his revenge, but in doing so, he would learn the truth about the Leaf Village's history and seek vengeance against the Village for the wrongs committed against his brother. Meanwhile, Sasuke would become the village hero after saving the village from the powerful Akatsuki leader, Pein. Akatsuki's real leader would then reveal himself to the leaders of the shinobi world and begin the Fourth Great Shinobi War. That pretty much sums it up.

that would be a cool story.
both have the same backstory and attacls. it goes to the point when sasuke leaved the village:
naruto is full of hate against everyone. he asking himself why orochimaru was for sasuke and not for him. then at the roof of the hospital sasuke made a bigger hole than naruto and thats the next point why he gets evil.but sasuke instead is more happier

then he leave the village to search for orochimaru to show him that naruto is worth to be his student. at the night when he leaves no one was there so stop him and then he get a flashback of his lonelyness and go. at the valley of the end naruto would developed the 4th tail and beat sasuke.

at shippudden naruto has the goal to destroy konoha and sasuke and sakura( now a couple) search for him. later he will be a akatsuki member and he goes completely berserk
