I donot know the proper rank for the akatsuki because each pair can kill each other .However Itachi and Nagato are more versatile in skill which have counter against other member.I will only conclude this rank for now (u decide their rank if i am wrong)

BSM Naruto and EMS Sasuke??? They'd be faaar beyond any other pair the Akatuski has ever seen.

They could probably take down the two strongest pairs:
Itachi and Kisame + Nagato and Konan AT THE SAME TIME!!! (Unless we're talking Healthy Nagato that is)

So yea, they'd be pretty damn strong.

They would represent balance as they are constantly upheld as opposites in multiple aspects. I guess they could represent a brotherhood theme... But honestly nothing exists in that.
