Korra and Asami became a couple. The Avatar crew confirmed it but they didn't want to make it too obvious in the show because of some parents.

The last episode made a lot of subtle, indirect implications for Korra fans to pick at. Besides, the fanfic pics are so cute :flowers anything else?

Their kids would have some of the most powerful Katon techniques plus be able to use sharingan pretty much always due to their bigger chakra pools and maybe if Kirin has some other techniques besides healing she could pass that on.

That is absolutely stupid in my opinion. I bet the only reason they added color to her skin was so they could also put the interracial angle as well. Korra I thought was going to be a show like the avatar training and conflict then action with a love interest in the background more or less. But man was I wrong it was all a ploy to address some social issues while not touching on some because it would become to obvious right....?
