If Rinnegan evolves from EMS, where is the ultimate defence?

Title says it all, MS and EMS have Susanoo, but Nagato's & SO6P (as far as we know) Rinnegan could not use it. Edo-Madara can but I have always put it down to experiments by Kabuto & Orochimaru that he can use both EMS & Rinnegan!

Is it plot no jutsu that nagato could not use Susanoo because he would be way too OP, or is there a reason that I may have missed?

Please explain if possible!

rinnegan has:shinra tensei,absorbing ninjutsu....and that shiled that pops up when nagato focuses his eyes thats all a rinnegan weilder needs , its more than susanoo

The best explanation is that Nagato could not use MS powers cause he was not Uchiha ... Madara can use MS powers with his Rinnegan and since Sage was both bloodlines in one, it's logical to assume he could use Susanoo and such

You can still use susanoo while using rinnegan. Madara is doing it now.

nagato never evolved from ems he was just given the eyes so he could have had susanoo because he needs 2 ms techs but he has none. Some people theorize that it could gedo mazo like the physical susanoo who is to protect you xd

Nagato can't use it because he was given his eyes and did not unlock it himself. Madara unlocked the Rinnegan via evolving his EMS therefore he retained it's abilities.

i think that he can only use it if he's able to change between the ems and rinnegan.

Susanno is a Uchiha bloodline limit; thus a user must have actual dna in their body wen they were born to use it. Sasuke and Itachi said something about that i think.

Rinnegan can Repell Anyform Of Ninjutsu/Taijutsu attacks with Deva Path.

It can Also Absorb Any Form of Ninjutsu and Absorb Peoples chakra just By touching them, So Taijutsu it ruled out Also.

So it's Well equipt to Defend Vs Nin/Tai

It can Counter Speed Via It's shared Vision

The Rinnegan can't do everything the Sharingan can do in itself. Powers like Kamui, Kotoamatsukami, etc. surpass individual Rinnegan techniques in certain areas.

Kakashi was Given his Eye and Also had no uchiha Blod, He can Still activate/Deactivate Ms when ever he Likes and Can Use Ms Jutsu's.

Not Having Uchiha Blood just Makes Ms Affect you more than it would a Normal uchiha.

Wether Nagato had susanoo is debatable noone can say apart from kishi and his inner circle how Nagato got his rinnegan although at this stage i think its more likely he was given it or perhaps something else...
