So let's say if Rin was alive but Obito still turns evil and if Rin was in the war and she sees Obito unmasked, how would she react after finding out that her childhood friend turned into a monster? Would she be heartbroken?

This. Obito wouldn't have turned evil. He probably would have returned to the village upon seeing Rin and Kakashi alive. Akatsuki would not have been evil. The nine tailed fox attack wouldn't have happened. Naruto would not be a jinchuuriki. Minato and Kushina would be alive. The village would not have accused the Uchiha of setting the fox free. The Uchiha massacre never happens. Itachi doesn't go rogue. Sasuke doesn't leave the village. Sasuke doesn't have EMS, and he doesn't have hatred as a drive to improve. Sakura and Ino and Sasuke's fan following don't find him cool (he hasn't been training to be the best.) They probably find someone else to stalk. My guess is Shikamaru. Naruto doesn't want to be hokage (he's already acknowledged.) The 4th ninja war doesn't happen. The villages are not united against a common enemy. Fighting between villages continues. Jiraiya doesn't die. Konan doesn't die. Nagato doesn't have rinnegan. Basically, the whole series falls apart if Rin doesn't die.

If rin was alive kakashi would've been weaker as well as obito and they both would still be good, but to answer your question she would cry like sakura does in the original series everytime someone fights.

Nagato would still have rinnegan. Madara gave him those eyes before he even met Obito.

Most people are right in saying that the series wouldn't have happened. A better way for the OP to phrase it is: How would Rin react if she was edo tenseid during this war after seeing Obito? I think Rin would be crushed and saddened.
