if pain attacked the hidden sand village

Assuming gaara was as strong as he is now, who would've won? Pain or gaara? Although gaara sand is fast enough to capture all paths I think deva path would be able to use shinra tensei to escape. All other paths destroyed in my opinion. I see no counter to CT.

Now if gaara had shukaku, and they were on good terms, I'd give it to gaara
CT wouldn't work as shukaku is made of sand. In order to damage shukaku you'd have to seal him or make him run out of chakra which I don't see pain being able to do. Six tailed Naruto resisted shinra tensei as well, I think shukaku could and crush him. Being in the desert especially.

Nawh, Pain probably shits. Chameleon + Gaara would probably be on the defence the whole time. Then there's the gedo for the shukaku scenario perhaps. Might just be as simple as a huge push, followed by a pull and rod to the throat if there was no intel.
