If only Hashirama & Madara were the mains

Think about it, if all the manga was around Hashirama and Madara, it would have been so much better. Their personalities, motives and story are so much more interesting.
Nardo is just some retarded kid who became a Jin, while Sauce is a mentaly challenged imo kid who does things for stupid reasons. One seeks power for childish motives and do all kind of stupid shts, while the other clown is chasing him.

However, Hashirama/Madara are actualy normal kids that want to change the world. They both have an awesome background and real goals. Even as kids they seem so mature and strong.
Watching the anime made me realize how bad and childish nature/sauce are.
-Kid Madz/Hashi are way more mature and likeable characters.

Too bad the mains are trash compared to them in my opinion, especially sauce.

Who agrees that Madara & Hashirama's Era is better?

Yeah but after Madara comes back to life with Izanagi, stomps Hashirama with Rinnegan (considering that Hashirama didn't die either for unknown reasons). Madara start capturing the Tailed beasts and revive the Ten-Tails, baam the story is pretty much the same, but better characters.

And the anime didn't rush their final fight or skip anything - it was like that in the manga. It started with some of their final fight then went into a flashback, then their fight continued after the flashback. The animation studio will probably go ham with that.

Many things where rushed in the manga, doesn't mean the anime is supposed to rush it too. Madara vs the kages kept hyping his fight with Hashirama, he said his fight against the kage was nothing compared to his with Hashi, yet I preffered his fight against the kage because of the anime who failed to give me that impression.
The animation/music/sounds/dialogue were rushed and/or non existant.

No not even close. He wouldve been by himself with no followers, not even his own clan would follow him. Even if he did he wouldnt be able to complete the plan he would grow old and weak before he had the chance. Not to mention hashi has still ALWAYS been stronger and even with the rinnegan madara wouldnt stand a chance because no matter if kishi did that hashi would still be ashuras incarnation regardless so instead of giving half the power to naruto and sasuke hed give it all to hashi which would put him at madz level and once again hashi solos. Story wouldnt be as good.

I agree that they are great characters that could support their own story. I'm sure that 620 chapters into it, Kishi probably wishes he'd done a lot of things differently.

Tobirama... Tobirama would be the main. The Naruto manga needs to follow characters that are badass and not just punks or wussies.
