Today the new chapter forced me to think back that Obito could use that power against Minato for sure. I know he was very angry and going all out with that MS power with Zetsu, but he could use it against Minato.

But let me ask u guys something, could Minato stop Obito with his MS power like he did today the new manga ??????

I don't think that's true. Obito has hashirama's cells like Madara and madara could use mokuton. Also danzo's arm turned into a tree, so I am guessing if he was compatible with hashirama's dna, he too could use mokuton. Zetsu's body is the same as half of Obito's body, so I think he can use mokuton.

EDIT: also I think he still had that zetsu attached to his body, because he was tall when he went up against minato. Also when Itachi spoke to him before the massacre.

His Mokuton jutsu he used today is useless against someone like Minato who can disappear and appear in an instant and it's probably the reason why he didn't used it against Minato. He knew that close combat was the only way to have a chance to catch and warp Minato with his Kamui. So whether he used it or not, wouldn't have change the outcome. He already had it back then, since we now know that Zetsu was covering his body during the fight against Minato(they were around the same height when Kakashi was smaller).

Fight from long distance > FTG lvl 2 completely useless. And other FTG kunais can be simply moved by mokuton, so then it'd be up to their stamina, which Obito has more because of Hashi's cells + it also heals him without making any handseals.
