Then naruto would still have his parents alive and well.

He wouldn't have had the need to become a Jin until his mother died of natural age(since its uzumaki lineage become jins).

Yeah you have a point, but then there would be no story. Sure you could have Naruto training to protect his mother from Akatsuki, but it wouldn't feel the same. There was a point in time where you really thought there was a lot at stake for Naruto, which hasn't been the case for years now.
