Maybe in order to use 6PoP you have to have both Rinnegan eyes. Since obito has only one, I get the impression that he implanted it only in order to control the previous jinchuuriki. Also, it was stated by Kakashi that jinchuuriki's bodies dont use Pein's skill because it consumes much chakra and Obito did not oppose, here is the page

From the beginning Obito couldn't have resurrected Rin even if he had rinnegan, because if he could, that would mean that he would be ablo to resurrect Madara (he died after Rin so time doesn't matter) so Madara wouldnt have to give his eyes to someone unknown as Nagato.

Well, that answered my question about the paths. But I feel that he wouldn't have ressurected madara knowing he would be ressurected by Kabuto anyway.

And also Obito just threw that Rinnegan into his eye socket, so he probably doesn't know how to use it fully. & you may need both eyes to be able to use all the the rinnegan's powers fully

Rin died more than 16 years ago, her body is probably so rotten it is impossible to perform the technique on her.
Madara, on the other hand, planned to come back with the technique, that's the difference. He probably preserved his body or something like that.

I am talking about Rinne Tensei too.
I presume the technique works with the body in perfect conditions and Madara's is preserved. It wouldn't work on her because Rin's body wasn't and rottened.

He cares about Rin guys. He wants to make the moons eye plan because he can see her again. Zetsu tells him wmthat it allows people to see the dead. And to answer the original question, we see alot of strange combinations in the narutoverse where mergin of two tyoe of people can allow one to use special techs. Perhaps an uzumaki (because of there high chakra levels) possessing the rinnegan can use the rinne tensi.
