I think we all agree that Obito got fodder-nized by Minato when he attacked the village. That saying, Minato was giving a run for his money with the MS active and stated that Obito S/T techniques were beyond that of his and the second hokages. While this goes on to prove that the sharigan is even that more haxx then FTG, Obito still lost because he didnt have proper knowledge of the full FTG abilities. But what would of happened if Obto had full knowledge on Minato's moves, would he of won or still suffered defeat?

I'm sure knowledge wouldn't have helped him all that much, the only real counter to the FTG i've seen so far is to stay far away from Minato or any of his kunai, or have some kind of defense he can't get by.

Minato knew less about Tobi's S/T than Tobi knew about FTG.

Minato knew less about Tobi's S/T than Tobi knew about FTG.

Both of these ^^^

And really, Obito had figured out Minato's FTG, he just couldn't predict how Minato would use it. The uses of Minato's kunai are theoretically limitless.

Having knowledge wouldn't help.

Obito just simply cannot react to that level of speed, No one can really.

Everytime Obito goes up against Minato, it would look like this.

He said its more Advanced, never said it was better.

Advanced doesn't automatically = better.

His is more Advanced because he can make his body part disappear, and etc.

But what can knowledge do about the thing you can't touch??? Minato EASILY smacked Obito. It was like a adult slapping a child and telling the kid to know his role

Well it's possible since he wouldn't have been caught out by v2 Hiraishin - it just remains to be seen whether his ability alone would've overcome the gaps in both experience and intelligence.

Exxperiance would win out everytime. Minato has more experiance and a sharper mind. The fact he figured out the limits of Obito's jutsu in that short time span, while saving his family, deflecting a tailed beast bomb, all while fighting hims ays a great deal. In a straight one on one with all his attention focused on the task at hand Obito wouldn't have stood a chance. If you said Obito with the knowledge and the experiance then I'd give it to him.

I pretty sure minato can still take obito even if obito was full aware of the ftg, not only that obito had knowledge on minato to begin with sense he was his sensei minato had none

Nah he still couldn't hit Minato while Minato could hit him. The battle was decided by speed not knowledge.
