Thats what Madara WANTS you to think... or not. He probably just wants to rule everyone and everything. Really thinking about it, he and Hashirama fought for a reason didn't they? If all he really wants is to allow everyone to live in a perfect world i don't think he would really had been portrayed as the ruthless guy he is now. That said, his whole approach to it seems wrong. Causing even more war and hatred and claiming to want to stop war and hatred is a really stupid way to go.

He needs to get Naruto and Bee to complete his plan. And they are resisting so....

I think you guys are just trying to disagree and side with Naruto.

I would want my parents, friends, and relatives back from the dead. Illusion or not. And I wouldn't want to watch suffering and death any longer

That's just short sighted. If you have everything you want (which is not the case in our scenario because you will have anything that Madara wants you to have) then you will not value anything anymore.

Sadness is useful , because it helps you value the happy moments of your life. If there was no sadness there wouldn't be any happiness too.

Reminds me of Butters in South Park. Well said old sport, I would rep you if I could, but alas I am unable.

Is the glass half full or half empty, it's based on your perspective quite simply.

I don't get it, we're all discussing Naruto here. Irrelevant clichés are our speciality.

This one totally missed the point of the thread though. The point was not whether you are optimistic or not, it was whether you prefer escaping from sadness or not.

Still...sounds like the vast majority of the content on this forum. Missing the point and adding clichés, usually to GIFS or depressing backgrounds.

I'm just joking, obviously.

1)a world without hatred, the idea seems plausible, but the means to achieve it are extreme.they're willing to exterminate thousands for not agreeing with them, they're not trustworthy of the future lives of people.
2)their plan is flawed,if he's gotta have a living body, then that means he's bound to die after a moment of time, then we'll have a juubi on the loose, with no one able to stop him, unless another SO6P appears.
3)living in a dream world seems plausible, but it hides behind it the fact that all these people are slaves to an illusion nothing more, they lost their pride, they lost their freedom and most importantly they lost their humanity.

In dream world everything loses its meaning, the love isn't real the happiness isn't real, you accomplish nothing at all in dream world.

Everything is just a big lie, the people who are illusions are exactly that, just dreams. Such a world makes everything that makes life worth living a big lie.

Actually, i made a thread about this in the past so just gonna copy paste it

1st off, by now it is clear that Obito is sincere to his goal and if he gets to complete the plan then he will make everyone's wishes come true......(i don't really trust Madara on this, he might just make himself king or something lolz)

Now, from Obito's prespective he wants to achieve heaven(Dream world) and take everyone to heaven with him.
a world of winners and all, where everyone will be happy.....
Ok, here naruto and others disagreed with him because they said that it will be a fake happiness and not reality cuz true happiness is meaningful only if achieved in real world.

Now, i don't see this logic(maybe i'm wrong) but..how do you define reality?
as Itachi said,'Reality is only what you believe to be true and real'.....you can also say that it's a feeling.
like if you are in a dream....you feel it as the reality untill you wake up, only then you can differentiate between dream and reality, but what if you never wake up?

yes, then that dream will be your reality....e.g that is what was shown in Matrix, if Anderson never knew about it he would just have been living happily in what he considers reality.

i think you get my point, so how can Naruto and the others say it won't be real if they never know and the jutsu ends only in their death. they would just be living happily without knowing that they are in a dream cuz they'll never wake up.

Now, you may say that this happiness won't be real but happiness is only a feeling and has nothing to do with reality.
if they can get that feeling in the dream world for the rest of their lives then what's the problem??

Well, that is all i have to say.....i'll be glad to hear your thoughts on this.

Oh and i'm just talking about the anime lolz don't flame me by saying that drugs also make you fly but kill you .....i'm just talking about the scenerio in anime

Kishi sama wants to convey that it is better to face challenges and win.... instead of living in an illusion.... :scorps:

It's not like their plan is all sunshine and joy.

These two have committed a whole mess of heinous acts to get to where they are right now. Starting the war, hunting down the Jinchuriki, abusing the Tailed Beasts, practically killing people for the lulz, unleashing Juubi and it's country busting Tailed Beast Bombs, and they still plan on incinerating everyone left in this fight.

The kind of peace that they've been working towards really is a blatant lie, because it's cost has been made up of practically everyone on their planet suffering.
