Much better than part two naruto, but not part one.

Well Kishimoto took inspiration from Toriyama so he decided to make the main character get a power up when he gets pissed which was pretty cool and drew in a lot of readers as this was in the first arc. Neji isn't as emotional as Naruto so he'd be pretty boring to watch. Having a Bijuu wouldn't make you a main character but if you were the main character, it would be a very good idea to give him one.
