Naruto should have tried to learn FTG from the 3 kohana ninja that the 4th taught it too. If he had FTG along with SM then there would rarely be an opponent that he had to use his 9 tails chakra mode on. How different do you think things would have been in the series if he mastered the tech around the time he mastered his wind rasenshuriken?

Less rasengan soamming that's for sure. It would be refreshing to see him hone down a jutsu other than that

Would've loved to see him mastering new wind techs.

I would have liked to see FTG from Naruto as well. It would be more creative instead of spamming the same Shadow Clones and creating the same type of Rasengan. If he used FTG and the Wind Style RS he could teleport that RS to attack his enemies. It would have been great.

I rather Naruto learn it from Jiraiya in the 3 years time skip. Jiraiya uses shadow clone jutsu so he knows how shadow clones allow you to gain information. I see that as plot, Jiraiya is a capable master who trained ninjas who all went on to be Jounin-Kage level ninjas. So Naruto could have learned all he normally learned plus FTG, wind element, wind jutsus, and some sealing jutsus. Then Naruto further improve his skills through Shippuden; improve his skill in Shunshin for example.
