Sakura, Ino and Hinata don't really strike me as the leader type.
Shikamaru, Choji and Shino are better support characters than they are leaders.
No one would support Sasuke for Hokage. The same way no one supported Oro to become Hokage when he ran against Minato.

No one would want Sasuke as a Hokage, especially with his history. Sakura has shown to be incompetent when the time calls for action and Shino isn't fleshed out enough.

honestly, none. Sasuke would have been like back when madara wanted to be the first hokage but i dont think enough people would trust him. and follow him, shikamaru is super smart but i dont know if he is strong enough, he would be good organising the troops but if someone like obito came up with the 9 tailed fox and wiped out most people, i cant see him taking on obito or anyone really strong like that since hes only basic jounin level, not really sanin or legendary.

Tsunade , i have no idea how old she is and whether she is close to dying or not but maybe her? i dont understand why she stepped down and let kakashi be hokage for like 5 years anyways... why not just wait and give it directly to naruto?

Tsunade nearly died during pain invasion and hiruzen did die during oro invasion. Minato died stopping the 9 tails and obito. So you can't just say oh they would die to a kage level attack so they could never be hokage because it happened 3 times in the manga..... Truely if anyone of the rookie 9 deserves it after naruto it is shikamaru. He might not be OP hax but that isn't what hokage is all about. Shikamaru is a tatical genius and perfect leader. So yeah power level wise hes probably not kage level. But in the rest of the intangibles he is. Being OP isn't required or even needed to be a kage.

2- Sakura - Also very smart and powerful, but to a lesser extent, has the advantage of a ex-hokage mentor.

3- Shikamaru - Lacks power but compensates with genius intellect.

I guess I'd say Sakura, Shikamaru is really clever but I don't even think he is ambitious enough to even want to be hokage. Sasuke probably wouldn't get chosen because those elders seem pretty strict in who they choose and he has all of those past mistakes that they might hold against him. Maybe if it was further in the future they would choose him, after they know they can trust him.
Sakura is both strong and smart so she would be a pretty good choice. Then again she doesn't ever seem to do all that much in battles so...maybe not. To be honest I don't get why Tsunade retired so early either, I guess she had enough after that war. Especially after that fight with Madara....

Actually, defending the village from attackers is part of the Hokage's job. Something Shikamaru has never been able to do. Also his intelligence in battle has never been that impressive. Look at other geniuses and the calibur of warrior they are, Minato, Oro, Sasuke, Kabuto, Kakashi, Hiruzen. Then compare other OP ninjas who were originally antagonists to the Leaf, ninjas from Kumo, Tsuchi, Akatsuki, Suna. The list is rather short of opponents Shikamaru can actually beat.

That changed after his final clash with Naruto. He no longer wants a revolution, which was his reason for becoming Hokage.
