If Naruto/Sasuke save Gai, how would you feel?

I'm under the impression that Naruto has used Yang Release to breathe life back into Gai and keep him sustained, and when Sasuke arrives, he'll use Yin Release to reshape and repair Gai. In this way, they have become the ultimate medical unit and can break the rules of nature with their deity level powers.

Personally, I think it's cool as f*ck and I'm incredibly exited to see where it goes from there. Naruto and Sasuke now hold awesome strength and I cannot wait to see how it unfolds as they show their entire arsenal and lay the smack down on Madara.

Plus, Gai is one of the funniest dudes around. He deserves to live and continue to teach his ninja way and make Lee a splendid shinobi.

Disappointment to hype ratio would be 75-25. I'd be more disappointed that Kishi flushed over 600 chapters of rules, hype and foreshadowing down the toilet but at the same time it would be cool to see what the Sage gave Naruto and Sasuke as far as abilities go.

You can't post in a single thread without derailing and throwing Sasuke's **** in your mouth. Seriously, get out.

I have mixed feelings about it.

On one hand, I'd rather Gai were to die. Not only would him surviving undermine the statements that the 8th Gate equals certain death (the only time we've seen it in action yet the character ultimately lives on), but Lee and Tenten would lose a chance of getting some much-needed development. They already missed the opportunity for that when Neji died, and I think Gai's death is necessary to give more motivation to Lee's character.

On the other side, if Gai does end up dying then Naruto's desire to 'change everything' with his new-found power would fall flat on its face. After all, it would dehype the extent of the Sage's power if Naruto couldn't even use it to save a dying comrade.

So overall I'm not too sure how I'd react. As much as I'd prefer to see Gai depart after his valiant efforts, I can't say I'll be that mad if he's revived to full health by Naruto.

yeah sure like no one has ever been on the verge of death and came back. Shit the person who saved him was suppse to die, because its said that if a bijuu is extracted from you, you die. Well two people have proven that wrong (Naruto, Gaara)
