Then where does the Kakashi and Obito situation fit into all of this? Naruto and Sasuke have similar beliefs to Hashirama and Madara about interpretations to peace. But Kakashi has never really expressed his thoughts about peace in the world, it's mainly been Obito. They bear more resemblance and after the war, are about to enter the same situation as Hashirama and Madara, so where do Kakashi and Obito fit into this pattern?

Nah I don't think Naruto and Sasuke fits Hashirama and Madara because Naruto won't always beat Sasuke. Sasuke succeeds and Madara fail. Sasuke is willing to work together with Naruto. They have the same problems but different methods

It's just those right and wrong methods of achieving peace...Madara and Hashirama,Hiruzen and Danzou,Orochimaru and Jiraiya,Kakashi and Obito and now Sasuke and Naruto...But I guess parallels between Kakashi and Obito and Sasuke and Naruto just by one being a "cool genius" and other being kind of goofy.

i believe they have their own story/pattern going on.

remember what obito (tobi at that time said), naruto and sasuke's destined fight/rivalry is like hashirama and madara's/ SO6P's two sons.

as far as am concerned, kishi didn't even hint that kakashi and obito will follow this pattern (the view is purely fan made).

Kakashi doesn't fall into that role. He dips in and out of the Sasuke role, as a kid. As he is now, I'd say he falls under Minato and Jiraya.

Obito and Kakashi are a reflection of what Naruto and Sasuke could have been, Obito represents a corrupted Naruto, while Kakashi represents a good Sasuke.

Hashirama and Madara are Naruto and Sasuke's predecessors of Naruto and Sasuke's respective ideology on peace.

Obito had the same belief that Naruto has but he was strayed away from the person he once was and Kakashi was all about rules and wasn't interested in friendship or teamwork but Obito changed him. Both Obito and Kakashi are there to show that people can change and stray from what they believed in, it's to show that Naruto's belief is stronger than what Obito's was

Naruto and Sasuke compared to Hashirama and Madara, they aren't really the same but both had friendships and were rivals, Hashirama wanted to save Madara from his hatred and Naruto tried to save Sasuke
