NS will actually have happened. Naruto thinks shy people are weird in the first place. Just because he refused to accept her obviously fake confession doesn't mean he didn't have feelings for her(Naruto wanted her to be happy). Naruto in shippuden manga was not shown to have any romantic interest in hinata till the movie I mentioned. If you are all about evidence where is your proof that Naruto loved hinata in shippuden? Present it if you are truthful.

The Last Naruto Movie says otherwise and that's canon too and completely justifies Hinata and Naruto pairing, if anything I'd say its Sasuke and Sakura pairing that's forced but I am glad it happened cuz Naruto deserves better than Sakura.
