He seem pretty adept at using sai's tanto against those Kumo nin... Other than that I think he would have gotten a staff from Hiruzen

probably huge shuriken. he isnt a type of shinobi who uses main weapon. he uses kunai/shuriken a lot. unlike sasuke who is undoubtedly great at kenjutsu
