If Nagato used rinne tensei on Madara

That would have revived Madara at an incapacitated state. How did he plan on making himself the juubi jinchuriki? How would he keep the ten tails inside of him with minimal life force when the seal responds with the users chakra/life force/ energy.

Maybe the longer he used the Jutsu similar to reversing the body decay it'd revert his age. Pure speculation, but if that was the case, Nagato could "slip" and make him an infant. :snick:

That's a possible explanation but leads to a contradiction. The databook states that rinne tensei costs the life of the user if he is reviving someone that has been dead since a very long time. If it costs the user's life, that means all the lifeforce of the user has been transferred to a dead body. If that is the case, it would be nearly impossible to revert the age. It would have been possible if the technique didn't take away all the lifeforce of the caster.

Yeah, but if Nagato were to do it when he was at full chakra it shouldn't be much of a problem. Bijuu level chakra reserves + Uzumaki longevity.
