Maybe he could and then go back if he leaves a kunai inside that universe

I doubt it.

Then couldn't someone just be reversed summoned back? I feel as if FTG basically just allows the user to summon themselves. I don't know for sure though.

It's possible, but not all Space/Time ninjutsu is linked so it's not guaranteed to work.

There's a chance that FTG would be unable to teleport him in or out of the Kamui dimension, since the only known entrance and exit is to be warped there through Obito's Mangekyo. If Kamui isn't being used at the time when he tries to teleport out, then it's safe to assume that anyone inside is essentially trapped until the 'doorway' is opened again.

Hmmm...

Basically you're asking whether the Flying Thunder-God Technique provides travel across a dimensional shift, in which case I doubt. Though a space time Ninjutsu, it thus far seems to operate only within the dimension of the user teleporting him from point A to B without traversing the space in between. There is a reason as to why Obito decided to get rid of Minato using Kamui, though the velocity Thunder-God technique's succeeds Kamui's warping ability which resulted in Minato's escape. Alternately, if Minato could teleport across dimensions I'm sure he would have opted for that during the kyuubi's attack to save his family as well as the village.
