If Minato is sage, then how would you fight him?

If Minato was able to get into sage mode, then his greater sense of the battle field would make him almost invisible until it is to late. This is not the only thing to fear, he would be able to teleport your attack away, direct your OWN attack against yourself, or teleport you in less tactical position.

If in sage mode, it would grant him greater reaction time on his flying thunder god technique, being able to use frog Kata and sense enemy chakara so you could not hide.

How would you fight Minato in sage mode? Pick any character except rinnegan user.

What I would do:

You would need some ultimate defense style like Gara or raikage and not leaving one single weak spot open with fast counter. That is boring so I will stick to someone else.

I would personally fight him by attacking all of his knives. If I was Itachi for example, I would keep his knives away from my back site by shooting his knives down. If Minato was able to get one peace of marking near or on me, then all is lost. I would make a lot of use of clones and replacement techniques. It would be intense battle to see Minato and Itachi fight (I would like to see that one) I think Itachi is clever enough to get this unlike Tobi which was to sure of himself.

Tobi was unlucky to go against Minato because Minato exploited his own ability. Tobi made a fatal mistake by letting Minato knife go through him and exposed his back to an surprise attack from above, thus losing the battle.

I would only let Minato get his knives to one of my clones and then pwn him down.

What do you think? Will it work?

Honestly if Minato had Sage mode, then there would be very few people who could do anything to him.

Genjutsu wouldn't work, (other than Itachi's Tsukuyomi), he would be even faster than he already is, which if we look at how fast Naruto is in SM compared to how fast he is normally that means it is a massive speed boost.

His attacks would be bigger and more powerful, he'd have by far the fastest reaction times ever (he already has the fastest reaction times), and he would be an amazing sensor.

Honestly the only people that I think could beat an SM Minato would be possibly Rinnegan users, or BM Naruto possibly. (possibly)

Then Use S/T as fast as him
While using SM to react faster

Hold people hostage? I'm pretty sure Minato would just kill Pein. He seemed pretty chill to let some of the Konoha ninjas die while he was chilling on the Hokage faces. But he did have to make an epic entrance, so I guess that would be an opening.

Moving into Konoha or going into Saiyan mode is also not an option. U_U

I think you could win if you just put some thought into it. Also, It would be amazing to see this kind of a battle because there is so much to think about.

I can imagine fighting him would be similar like when wonder woman fought superman. She was thinking how on earth should I fight him, he is fast, sees and hears everything and invulnerable. She figured a way to use his strength against him by hitting his ears and inflict pain to his super senses.

I think it is possible.

1) Keep your distance.
2) If he makes a move to you by throwing knives at you, you counter them by throwing knives at his knives and distorts their path.
3) Laying traps explosions where his knives are.
4) Fight him one on one! Don't let him use allies to get markings on bad spots or use your allies to get his markings near you.
5) Get him to jump to one of those traps.
6) Claim victory :izuna: or fail (But at least you tried! )

I'm not sure if this would work but if you had Kisame's abilities then you could turn the battlefield into a giant bubble of water then merge yourself with Samehada. That would then give the terrain advantage it would also make throwing kunei under water at any great length and speed pretty hard it may also take Minato's speed away. Then try to make him run out of breath or hold him till sage mode wears off as I said I'm not sure if this would work but if it doesn't then I FAILED haha.

In his base mode, Minato has shown to be more or less unbeatable, even when fighting A and B together, and later, Tobi, with relative ease in both cases. Of the few opponents in history that could actually give him trouble enough for him to need Sage Mode (if he indeed has it), I'm not sure who could beat him at that point, aside from an Edo'd OP ninja like Madara, and even then, well, who knows. :shrug:
I mean, Sage Mode took Naruto from barely being able to be Kakazu to beating the Six Paths of Pain. That's one hell of a boost.
