He can teleport anywhere in the universe so long as there is a mark there.

He cannot, however, teleport between dimensions, even if the second dimension is marked. (Theoretically)

Doesn't Minato himself travel through an alternate plane of existence / another dimension when he jumps? If so, his mark being in another dimension shouldn't stop him from teleporting to it.

I think all space time ninjutsu have some sort of other dimension involved. The space time barrier opens a hole into another dimension temporarily. So you're probably right.

What if Minato was trapped in the kamui dimension?

Can he return?

Any where. Even a summuning jutsu can teleport team 7 and bijus to the world.

It just open up an invisible worm hole that suck/teleport Minato's body through it instantly. Same also to S/T barrier. It not creating special dimension that overlap other dimension like Kamui.

It happen inside one dimension only(where the user exist inside it) and not involving other alternate dimension(Kamui, Kaguya's dimensions etc)
