itachi has multiple techniques in his arsenal to deal with minato.

It's just the fact that we have seen far more of Itachi's techniques than Minato's so it's hard to prove that Minato could get passed Susano. Either way it's no guarantee until and if we see more of the 4th Hokage's techniques

It depends...

You see there are many hypothetical situations and outcomes in a match, that you create in your head. Kish only brings out one of the possibilities, don't get me wrong! If there is a massive stretch in power then it's clear that one will win more than lose.

However, when it comes to Minato & Itachi.. I personally believe that Minato would win, and if he were to beat Itachi. Itachi fan's always have the opinion to question what happened and see what he's done previously.... Unless, it was clear that he couldn't win.

For example.... If Itachi was shown to be able to react to FTG (Which he can't, although lets say he can).. And in the fight, he never dodged it, even though he's shown to dodge something equally as fast previously.

This is when people would say, welll ... NO, he has the ability to dodge it, but never done it due to plot. This can go for Minato fan's also or anyone.

I'd be impressed, and believe it. If it happens in the anime, then it happens and permenentally shows that its possible. I mean come on guys, the anime producers aren't just a bunch of babbling idiots, and they surely are more informed of the characters and their capablitlies than we are. And it's not just 3 or 4 people making an episode, it's a whole team of people. And it wouldn't be too far-fetched for either side to win to be honest, people just assume Itachi wins because of his trump cards.

none of this matters against ftg, all minato has to do is touch itachi, ancd its game over. he can even send an ftg seal throught the ground, through susanoo to itachi. game over. as long as minato has chakra, and the ground to put seals on, then itachi cant lay a finger, an amaterasu, a gengustu of any kind, a shuriken, a finger, or a totsuka blade on minato. the only way he would have the slightest chance of even surviving is if he suddenly gains enough fuinjutsu knowledge to remove a ftg seal from all over his body. and i dont see funijustu being anywhere in his arsenal. you can argue that itachi can use amaterasu on the kunai, but he cant burn the entire ground away which minato can also place seals all over.
