If Madara's body had been cremated, would Izanagi still have activated?

Let's just say that straight after Hashirama killed Madara at the VOTE, him and Tobirama had decided to cremate the corpse instead of burying it(after apparently studying it.) Would Madara's izanagi have activated in time to save him from the cremation, or would he have burnt forever?

madara's izanagi never made sense, what the manga said before about izanagi was that it can reverse things while its activated, it cant undo things when its not activated

thats why danzo was in a hurry to activate izanagi by doing seals before sasuke's attack hit him that one time and why he couldnt use shisui's eye to save himself from the last stab

madara's izanagi activated sometime after his death and yet it undid things that happened before it, kishi pls

anyway I would say madara is screwed since the eye is destroyed and when the time for izanagi comes there is no eye to do the izanagi
its like asking will a bomb explode if someone comes and cuts off the wires before the set time to explode

My guess is that the Izanagi would've activated before his cremation as in he'd come back to life before his creamation. And hey even if say his body becomes ash it's possible for him to come back to life with Izanagi, I mean we've seen similar cases with Edo Tensei, Rinne Tensei or Naruto's Jesus no Jutsu etc

As long as the eye is fine, I don't see what's the problem, and we know that konoha would never destroy something as valuable as a pair of EMS unless they knew they needed to be destroyed.
