If Madara took Izuna's eyes, why didn't Izuna take Madara's eyes?

I've always wondered this! If they were that close, it only makes sense that they would. Especially if Madara knew how powerful Hashirama was. Having a backup would of been nice.

Or maybe Izuna is Tobi and started collecting eyes afterwards to gain what he had lost. plus would make sense how he knew so much about Madara's battles and what not.

Anyways thoughts on this, but please no one or two word comments. You can't have a discussion with "not sure"

Also, having the nine tails proved to be a huge advantage to Madara if hashirama was still able to beat him. Izuna was almost as good as Madara apparently, so an uchiha backup probably more successful.

the whole gaining eternal light by taking your siblings eyes is bull crap, one of the stupidest ideas kishi has come up with. the mangekyou strains the eyes so its no wonder the user will go blind. but why is it that taking your siblings eyes magically prevents you going blind again. you are still straining the eyes in the same way as before, shouldn't the transplanted eyes eventually lose their light as well.
