Obito never intended to revive Madara at first place. Moon eye plan and IT is a sole reason for his hokage dream and Rin. Obito was only a child when he used him. Even with all of Madara's prep and planning, Obito was still right on his heels. IF it hadn't been for Naruto and his friendship BS, Obito would've one shotted madara while he was juubi jin.

And Limbo isn't bearing Kamui either. Obito wouldn't be able to see them (perhaps JJ Obito can) but at the same time the limbo clones operate in another dimension Seperate to the Kamui dimension meaning 2 possible scenarios:

1) Obito would simply do what he does and everything the limbo do would phase through him

2) since we know Obito can use Kamui to resonate and open portals to other dimensions, he could simply enter the Limbo dimension and defeat the clones there first.

Of course this would be with a double Kamui Obito and also, of course, I have no proof on this just a hypothesis.



OT: Actually, JJ Obito probably would have outshined JJ Madara if not for one major nerf:

Only Kaguya had the sharingan eyes for IT, the other casters were just hosts.

It would seem like Obito wouldn't have been able to cast that jutsu. He meet all the requirements but didn't. (He had the eye an was a JJ) All he had to do was fly up an the RS would appear on his forehead an cast it as Madara did..

But it seems he needed the god tree along with two Rinne's to cast it... Madara could've easily used it with one eye if that was the case..
Obito wasn't going to revive Madara willingly an Zetsu would've gotten to Kabuto eventually like he did. Either way Madara would've came back anyways..
