Attention: I'm not going to realate Madara to Danzou, so if you were looking forward to it I have to dissapoint you.
Again, what if Madara has only 1 Sharingan with no offensive techniques? What if his Sharingan has only the Genjutsu and Space/time powers, whereas the other Sharingan, which he accidently lost, had offensive techniques.
And in order to regain his power, Madara needs to somehow "activate" or "find" his second Sharingan?
That ws probably the reason why EMS dude dind't assasinate anyone, didn't attack Konoha directly. In order to be able to destroy Konoha completely, he needs his 2nd eye.
