I was watching the anime and Law was saying how luffy use the trump card to early and didn't flow he's plan what if luffy followed his plan use king kong gun instead of red hawk then law use Gamma knife to injuried him even more then both could easily finish off what doflamingo had left

Do you think it would have made a difference?

No, the problem was that Doflamingo had a hostage that Luffy wasn't willing to hurt.

Using the King Kong Gun in a enclosed space would probable be very dangerous particularly to anyone nearby like Bellamy.

Luffy first of all is trying to save Bellamy also he didn't know the strength of DD so at that point using G4 is useless. As DD somehow survive then he will know what luffy has to make him the winner. Also DD has been attack by gama knife then by king kong gon yet he stand tall so this plan was going to fall from the beginning. Luffy finally used his ulimate G4 attack god sled when all things fail. You don't fight with full force until you don't know the strength of your enemy.Because if enemy is weak you are wasting so much power & if he is more powerful then you have displayed all your weapon.

Hmm. I always read that scene as organized chaos. Law and Luffy were pretending to break down as a team to lead Doffy into believing there wasn't a trap.
