You can't rewrite reality if you're dead, izanagi has to be activated first, when izanagi activates the genjutsu is placed on the user, meaning they don't die & that's simply an illusion made to look that way.

& As for that scan which proves absolutely nothing as well, zetsu clearly states that madara used izanagi the same way that itachi implanted amaterasu, meaning it didn't activate until later on. Why do you think madara's body didn't disappear like any other izanagi user's body does? It's because his izanagi didn't activate until he already died.

Therefore zetsu saying that madara got resurrected is accurate because he did, however that doesn't contradict anything I said seeing as obito didn't get killed. So he didin't need to rewrite reality to resurrect himself, izanagi was already active.
