Continued the Naruto story but between chapters 699 and 700 with Sasuke Gaiden it would have been awesome! however unfortunately he chose not to do so as he stated he wanted to end the series at 700 and did not want to prolong the conclusion so he skipped Sasuke's story and has no intentions of writing it. If he had continued the series would have been even more epic following Sasuke's story traveling the world and exploring and fighting within Kaguya's 6 dimensions. Sasuke Gaiden would have had Taka with him...so much potential wasted...Kishimoto instead gave us Naruto Gaiden...

He already did and it's called Naruto Gaiden and the scarlet spring.

man we can only dream..i'm hoping Kishimoto pulls a Toriyama and make a deal with the animators to make it happen. Sasuke Gaiden would be the greatest!

You need to take off your Sasuke glasses and read it again because the story was focused on Sarada with Sasuke occupying a couple of panels with even less lines.
