If I had to go with no changes.

1. Involve the alliance.

2. Obito uses a large blast to kill Tenten and other shinobi who have kept into the air.

3. Gai goes 8 gates to buy time. "I will not allow another one of my precious students to die. GATE OF DEATH OPEN!"

3. Despite buying time...Obito is unaffected. Some combination of Hiashi, Kiba, and Shino dying.

4. The above advances Hinata's eyes

5.Have Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, and Minato fight Madara to show the past is in the past...it also shows the power of combining Madara with Mokuton, EMS sharingan, and the Rinnegan. Their actions counter Madara's trump card.

6. The Go-Go-Kage Rangers arrive to help fight Obito

7. Hinata, Shikamaru, and Lee manage to co-ordinate to defend Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura respectively.

8. Hinata uses some form of her Lion fist to take away Obito's ability to tank everything. He still has his speed and his chakra control.

9. Following that, Hinata is KO'd from the fight (that way Sakura takes over for her Heroine roll).

10.Shikamaru developed a winning strategy....one that doesn't suck.

11. Using an initial Ino-Shika-Cho for temporary disruptions....the strategy uses the Gokage Rangers, Lee's 7th gate, Naruto, and Sasuke to leave him completely open for a Sakura punch.

12. Despite his extremely injured condition, Obito survives.

13. Orochimaru is a **** to Uchiha. He arrives to body snatch Obito. Becoming the final villain we deserve, but not the one we've had. Basically one of pure unadulterated evil.

14. By this time the Hokage manage to defeat/seal Madara.

15. Orochimaru releases Edo Tensei causing the Hokage to begin disappearing.

14. Tobirama makes a final sacrifice...using some forbidden Edo Tensei technique to force the other Hokage to make the seals needed to break the contract. He sadly doesn't have time for himself.

15. Orochimaru begins his assault, but Hashirama and Hiruzen press him back.

16. Minato takes this time to transfer his Kurama chakra.

17. Finishing the transfer, he pushes Naruto out of the way and he gets human pathed by Orochimaru.

18. Through subsequent events, Hashirama leaves protecting Sakura. Hiruzen leaves protecting Sasuke.

19. Eventually, the alliance has been mostly defeated except for the Gokage Rangers, and Team 7.

20. With some final blast dealeo...Sakura and Tsunade are out as they use their medical prowess to keel the alliance from vaporization. Tsunade dies, but Sakura lives because Tsunade uses some of her chakra to also protect her student.

21. Naruto and Sasuke are all that's left...by combining their teamwork or through the Hyuga clan before they are all defeated. They get the Rikkudo staff and sword. Naruto: staff....Sasuke: sword.

22. Like the Sage had wanted for his son's...elder and younger work together to best Orochimaru.

24. Naruto manages to free the tailed beasts which aggravates Sasuke.

25. Our alliance losing many members is victorious.

26. We return to peaceful times...Kakashi (managed to live...I guess saved by Minato from the other dimension...say Kakashi carried the FTG kunai st all times) is currently Hokage. We have the closing of the K11 members left alive (Hinata, Lee, Choji, Ino, Shikamaru).

27. As a battle for Hokage and for the destruction of the tailed beasts....Naruto vs Sasuke at the Valley of the End.

28. They basically wreck the area forming a larger valley of the end and waterfall.

29. Sakura who followed them, manages to heal them both or only one of them (your preference)

30. Epilogue. We see who Sakura could save and we find our the final pairings and we find out about how they go on.

Whether Naruto is Hokage or a traveler, Sasuke a wanderer or Hokage. Sakura medical chief or Hokage....

I would definitely make Obito a more complex character.

If Obito is truely butthurt about Rin, then it would be a sad disappointment.

Good story telling requires villains to be complex and unyielding.

One of the best villains I have seen is Sinobu Sensui from YuYu Hakusho. A character that has attained power through divine conviction.

Obito right now is a demi god. He is also the final villain. As such, his character should be very complex. His desire to destroy the world should be a divine judgment. A good way would be to have Obito to not care about Rin anymore. He only cares about righting a wrong commited on him. A wrong done by the very world he lives in. He realizes that if he exists, and can only exist once, then he has a right to not live in a shitty world. A right robbed from him by reality. He develops a Solipcist view of the world, explaining his mass murdering activities. He doesn’t’ care about helping others with his genjutsu. He holds each and every entity of this hell he lives in responsible. But he also realizes that the only way to correct it is to completely erase his memories of the trauma as if it never happened: i.e The genjustu is there to bring him back to the way life was, with Rin in it. Only then, can the problem be fixed and his war against this corrupt world be won.

He only cares about the good memories of Rin simply because it makes him happy. He doesn’t care about the actual Rin at all.

Now that is a villain with complex motives. Again, look up Sensui. He is a model villain.

Also, I would have Rin revived and then have Obito kill her, just to demonstrate how unyielding he is.
