rin represented more than a crush....it was broken dreams, wishes, promises and purity. the bs of the world and reality. it makes his character deeper than just imma evil and gonna kill u. naruto never gives up on reality and has his dreams and people who entrusted things to him. not being alone unlike obito. its perfect for their conflict.

yes i would have loved more tobi flashbacks about why he fell deeper into darkness. thats one thing i would have loved. seeing his actions behind the scenes.
