I would be against him. Sure he has good intentions, but everyone should be given second chances. Killing people is the easy way out. Forgiving them, and them changing is hard-nearly impossible.

If the deathnote just imprisoned them, then maybe I would be fine with him.

Either way, that is just way to much power for one person alone to have without any checks or balances. Power unchecked corrupts.

This is very evident when you see kira from the beginning, and kira at the end.

Kira goes from being someone just wanting to make a difference using his tool, to someone who views himself as a god.


If I ever got ahold of the deathnote, I would destroy it or bury it deep someplace it could never be discovered again. Or I would return it to the shinigami.

I would never use it, unless in a clear situation of kill or be killed, or a situation such as during a war that I am actively a part of. Even then it would be very reserved usage of it.

I would be conflicted whether or not to use it on someone like hitler even. And I would have them all die peacefully.


I would rather live in a imperfect world, than live in a world where just 1 person can pretty much do great good or great evil. Light was not a person of great good.
