Would Orochimaru have picked him over Sasuke?

true, he obsessed over the sharingan, but he would have taken Kimmimaru's body because Sasuke wouldn't have showed up on time anyway.

Orochimaru would have found a way to have both, he's selfish that way.

He should have, he could have trained at Ryuuchidou like he wanted to and become a dragon sage, which would make him powerful enough to take Sasuke's sharingan by force more or less whenever. it also means he wouldnt have been bedridden when Hebi sasuke attacked him in the first place.

If Kimimaro was healthy Orochimaru would have been SOOO much better off lol
