Kakazu needs Hidan, because Kakazu's element blasts have such a massive range and spread. Hidan can't die from that so- perfect pair. Kisame and Itachi go together because is Brains&Brawn. If Sasori was still around and paired with Deidaarararaaadasaara..... Then Kakashi would go with Tobi. Both have good mobility and skill sets that complement each other, and Kakashi's cool head would balance out Tobi's goofiness.

Kakashi would not be a good akatsuki. To get into Akatsuki you don't have to be insanely strong(though most of them are) you have to be able to catch Jinchuuriki; that's why Hidan is a member.Kakashi with his low chakra wouldn't be able to capture Jinchuuriki(though he would be able to kill)
