If we go by that logic; the Inuzuka are descendants of Tobirama (face markings), the Yamanaka come from the lady on Hashi's left (hairstyle) and the Nara are descendants of the guy in the last row with the poking hairdo. :|
It seems as if some of the characters there carry traits of the current shinobi families but I doubt that this has a meaning. Otherwise we'd have to relate Kakashi to Kakuzu (mask), Ao (eyepatch) and so on. :shrug:
