Hello I have been thinking about this question. If kakashi died in some way prior to becoming the 6th hokage who do you think the secessor after tsunade.

I feel like Sasuke wouldn't accept it as he wanted to go on his road to redemption. Not sure how Sakura would've been but maybe. Shikamaru wouldn't want it but he'd be the best candidate. I think you're right about Tsunade.

I doubt it would be sasuke since if it wasn't for kakashu pardoning him when he was hokage, sasuke would be an enemy of the state
