That would be Madaras fate,yes. To be honest I expected a huge battle with Kaguya. However, all we have got was that dimension jutsu and random asspulls.

Naruto is almost at Obito's Juubi Jin level and Sasuke has the spiritual energy, and they both have battle experience in the new era which includes a whole variations of Jutsu which kaguya has not even seen or experienced cos she's been in sealed state, and as soon as she woke up she had to fight these guys.

However, I think that Kishi wants to Madara who is more modern but he just wanted to use this window to show us who Kaguya is. Madara will be the last villain and he will be sealed with the help of the Edo Hokages; especially Hashirama and Tobirama like in the old days.

Actually, most female characters of One Piece have an interesting background and some unique powers. That's way more than Kishimoto could do in over 15 years.

Oda's females might not be like the gals from Black Lagoon, but at least they're competent in their own ways. Nami is probably one of the best if not the best navigators in the world while Robin is incredibly smart and knowledgeable and has amazing recon abilities. While they might not get as much screen time and ass kickage as the boys do, they do get it occasionally and they don't look like total crap. I'm not saying Oda's great, but if Oda's like a 4-5, Kishi's like a 1-2 in regards to women.

If you want to see badass women, the mangaka should talk to the writer of the aforementioned Black Lagoon.

But at least he can make it interesting. The whole Kaguya fight has just been so anticlimatic overall, it's just been incredibly disappointing. I mean it hasn't been all bad, the dimension stuff was pretty cool, but it just felt lackluster, it didn't feel grand the way the supposed final enemy should. Madara would've been a far better final enemy imo.

We don't know the specifics though, all the spoilers said is she's been sealed. The battle might not be completely over yet. I mean what about Ten ten's tools? It can't be over yet...
